As part of our phased reopening associated with COVID-19, the Hillsborough County Property Appraiser's office is now offering an in-person appointment system.
However, before making an in-person appointment, please know you can easily accomplish most of our services by using our website. Below is a list of our frequently requested services:

* Learn about other property tax exemptions
* Generate a mortgage letter
If you would like assistance by telephone, you can call us during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., excluding holidays) at 813-272-6100.
If you would prefer to meet with someone on our staff in person, we are currently accepting walk-in customers at our downtown Tampa office or our South Shore office in Ruskin. The downtown Tampa office is located in the lobby of the County Center, 601 E. Kennedy Blvd., Tampa, FL 33602. The South Shore office is located at 410 30th St. SE, Ruskin, FL 33570.
Alternatively, our office is offering virtual meetings with the public online using the video conferencing software Zoom. You can now request a virtual meeting appointment only by sending an email to the following address:
Please include your name, email address, property address or folio number, a daytime phone number where you can be reached, the topic of your meeting request AND at least two possible meeting times/dates during our normal meeting hours (8 a.m.-4 p.m., M-F, excluding holidays). We will respond by email to arrange the virtual meeting.
In addition, we are now offering an appointment scheduling system for customers who require in-person assistance. This scheduling system is for appointments at our downtown Tampa office only.

The Hillsborough County Property Appraiser is an elected official charged with the duty and responsibility to appraise all of the property in the County. This includes real estate and tangible personal property (the equipment, machinery and fixtures) of businesses.
